Last Thursday, January 12th at the Faculty of Management, UW was held The Baltic Sea Region University Network (BSRUN) Steering Committee meeting. We had a pleasure to host authorities from prestigious universities - members of BSRUN from Belarus, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Poland and Russia. The meeting was devoted to developing of the successful strategy of BSRUN in the nearest future as well as discussion on the new tasks and challenges aimed at attracting new members and prospective effective activities of the network. We are pleased to announce that by the decision of the Steereing Committee president and members Dean of the Faculty of Management, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak has been appointed the vice - president to be in charge of academic affairs of the network.
Also, the University of Warsaw and our Faculty in particular along to Saint Petersburg State University of Economics in Russia were elected as Coordinating bodies for 2017 - 2019.
On June 6 - 9, 2016, the Faculty of Management will host students from the Ben Gurion University of Business and Management, Israel. The visit will be coordinated by the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw Project and Expertise Center and the International Business Program.
