Visiting Scholar Program at the Faculty of Management

The Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw is seeking scholars who are interested in visiting and collaborating with the faculty and students enrolled for the doctoral program. We are looking for scholars who would like to engage in common research projects and are also willing to share their expertise related to the publishing process with younger scholars and members of the faculty.

The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. title from a prominent university and have a proven record of publications in the major journals, such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Organization Science, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Studies, etc.

We are particularly interested in candidates whose research focuses on the following areas:

  • organization theory,
  • entrepreneurship,
  • research methods development (including qualitative and quantitative methods),
  • other interests within organization science.

The length of the visit is flexible and may extend from one to three months. The visiting scholar is expected to:

  • organize one seminar per month of the stay. The seminar is intended to offer a glimpse of the visiting scholar’s current research interests;
  • provide feedback on ongoing research projects conducted by the members of the faculty;
  • initiate joint research activities with the members of the faculty;
  • share his or her experiences regarding submission of papers to premier journals;
