Welcome Point and The Volunteer Centre of The University of Warsaw would like to invite you to take part in a series of online workshops on the topics such as promotion and communication, cross-cultural skills and video making. The grand finale of the project will be a preparation of an official video promoting extracurricular activities among the academic community. The workshops will be conducted by experienced trainers and project coordinators. Communication and promotion experts will also join us to share their knowledge and tips with you!
When and where?
We will meet every two weeks on Wednesday afternoon, starting from March up to May. If you qualify for the workshop, we will send you a link to the meeting platform. Please have in mind that project will last 3 months and your attendance at meetings is essential for us (only 1 absence is allowed).

Dear Students,
we kindly inform you that as part of the cooperation between the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw and Santander Bank Polska, a special scholarship programme has been created for FoM students. The founders’ intention is to reward students of the Faculty of Management for their involvement in initiatives at the University of Warsaw, social activity and for outstanding achievements in science and non-university activities.
UW employees and doctoral candidates can undergo free of charge COVID-19 RT-PCR tests. Taking swabs will begin on 26th October and last until 20th November. Employees and doctoral candidates have an opportunity to sign up for COVID-19 RT-PCR tests that detect active SARS-COV-2 infection.
Dear Students,
please be informed that according to current situation, the Student Offices will be closed until further notice. Your questions, requests and applications will be considered by email only. Office employees reply to e-mails in the received order. Student who wish to collect their diplomas will be able to do so after making an appointment.
Welcome Point – an information service point for international students who start their education at UW – organises, together with the Association for Legal Intervention specialists, an online meeting on the legalisation of stay in Poland. During the meeting, the following issues will be discussed:
The Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw organises five online multicultural meetings on the Polish culture, covering interesting facts regarding music, movies, celebrations and customs. To participate, one is requested to register by 19th October.
Soon the UW rector’s election for the 2020-2024 term will be held. On 21st May, the University Electoral Committee registered three candidates. On 25th May at 16:00, the candidates will present their programmes and answer questions, during the online pre-election meeting with members of the UW academic community.
