The Centre for Entrepreneurship of the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw have a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 5th international conference on entrepreneurship which will be held in Warsaw, on November the 15th and 16th, 2018.

The 5th edition of the conference will take place on the 15th and 16th of November 2018 at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw. (1/3, Szturmowa street, Warsaw, postal code: 02-678). 


Important dates

Conference dates 15th and 16th of November 2018

Abstract  submission deadline:

First round: June 5th 2018

Second round: July 31th 2018

Third round: started  August 1st 2018

Information about acceptation of the proposition will be sent to the prospect participants in 14 days from the final date of abstract submission.

An abstract should not exceed 1 page and should include:

a) research problem and aims,

b) methods,

c) short literature review,

d) results and discussion.



Final Paper Submission Deadline: August 15th 2018.

The Paper Submission Deadline has been extended to September 5th, 2018

The reviews will be sent to the paper authors within the month of the full paper submission date. (Please note that due to editorial requirements we are not able to extend this deadline!)

Early Bird payment deadline: September 10th 2018.

Full Payment date: from September 11th until October 15th 2017.

After receiving a positive review, the papers will be published in (number of points according to the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education lists):

  • Special edition of “Management Issues” (Problemy Zarządzania -
  • “Research Reports” (Studia i Materiały -, both published by Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw
  • Selected articles will be published in  "Journal of Entrepreneurship, Management and Innovation" -          (14 p. ) JEMI is indexed by Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate Analytics)

The submitted papers should not be more than 25 – 40 thousand signs (including spaces). All papers sent should meet the editorial requirements of „Management issues”, which are described on the website:


Please note, that the preferred language for submitted texts is English. Participants from Poland may also submit papers in Polish (in order to do that, please contact us!).


Conference fee


If you willing to attend  both events the participation fee of attending in The Meeting of Polish Chairs for Entrepreneurship and Innovation will be 200 PLN  for normal participants and 150 PLN for PhD students.


Full package includes:

  • Gala Dinner on Thursday

The Early birds - until September 10th 2018, after that date all charges are counted as Standard rate.


For our foreign participants we offer a complimentary University/city tour. Delegates from Poland interested in participation should contact the Organizers.

Conference venue - map and transportation

Warsaw can be easily accessed, there are direct flights from almost every major European city, US and Canada, operated by Lot Polish Airlines, as well as many European carriers (for details please visit Warsaw Airport homepage). There is also a possibility to travel by train from various European cities.

In Warsaw, there are multiple ways to access the conference venue:

  1. TAXI – from centrally located hotels it costs about 8 – 15 Euro.
  2. Metro – Currently there are only two lines in Warsaw; To get to the Faculty, you need to use the first line. From the stations like Świętokrzyska, Centrum, Politechnika (or any other between MŁOCINY and WILANOWSKA) take a train in the KABATY direction to the station SŁUŻEW. Then walk for about 10-15 minutes or take a bus (number 189, 193 or 410) to the stop BELDAN.
  3. Bus – there are direct buses from the Old Town and Central Train Station (174, to the stop ORZYCKA) and from Ursynow district (Bus 193, to the stop ORZYCKA)
